Stop Fidgeting with the Desk Buddy Sensory Bar
Children are very fidgety. I have never encountered a child that is not. I consider fidgeting, among kids, to be normal. However normal it may be though, it could still be very annoying and could cause child to lose attention when doing lessons or homework. Some parents resort to threats. Other parents are more considerate and they allow their child to roam around for a while, just to get it all out, and resume lessons afterwards. However, when using that method, children might get used to the fact that every time they feel the need to stand, they can. They must not. They should learn how to behave. They should also learn how to sit in place because they would need that once they are in school. So, what would be the next best solution, other than threats or consideration? The next best thing, for me, would have to be the Desk Buddy Sensory Bar. Children need to have something to take up their attention so that they would not fidget. Fidgeting starts when they become bored and would want to explore other things. The sense of touch would be one of the best senses to stimulate when it comes to fidgeting. The hand can give you a variety of sensations when stimulated. It could feel temperatures: hot and cold. It could feel shapes: circles, squares, triangles, etc. It can feel hardness, softness and different types of textures – rough or smooth. With the Desk Buddy Sensory Bar, your child would be able to stimulate his sense of touch effectively. It is shaped like a ruler, and it contains various textures that could occupy him for quite some time. It is made from materials that have been approved by the FDA and is even safe for chewing. The Desk Buddy Sensory Bar is a great and practical way to keep a child in his seat. I highly recommend it to all parents, teachers and tutors.
